GET TO KNOW QT MORE

Born in Riverside and raised in Corona, the heart of Inland Empire suburban life. I have a passion for all things electronic, that ignited during my toddler and elementary years playing on the computer and acquiring technology products throughout my adolescence. In my teen years, I was involved in dance and sports, including my HS hip hop team. I took fashion classes and was taught how to sketch, sew and create designs from concept to final product.

However, my path to artistic fulfillment is far from straightforward. As I navigated the complexities of young adulthood, I found myself questioning my identity and purpose at 18. It was recommended to me to study Nursing at Chaffey, but over time I found it to be lackluster, barely passing classes just breezing by. I like medicine and taking care of people I thought but it did not feel like me. Then came my electives, which were all performing arts and music classes, those felt like my home away from home. I then declared my new major in Performing/Visual Arts & Film in 2018 but unfortunately had to drop out of college due to lack of support. While struggling to finish my college journey at home, I moved to Riverside in 2023. I immersed myself in the depths of visual storytelling when I enrolled at riverside City college and joined RCC's Viewpoints as their Multimedia Editor in the Fall/Winter of 2024. That's when my creative vision truly began to crystallize. I uncovered a newfound sense of identity, purpose and power in creative expression. I began to trek down a unique path between photography/film, graphic design, visual art and photography/film in 2026.

As I continue to evolve as a creatibve director and an individual, I remain committed to pushing the boundaries of my creativity.
